Introducing the inaugural release from InchDairnie Distillery and what could well be the future of Scottish whisky…
RyeLaw is an innovative new whisky made from 53% malted rye and 47% malted barley. It can’t be called a rye whisky because there is currently no legal definition for that in Scotland. So, it was crafted adhering to the rules for American rye whiskey instead. It has just been featured in the fifth edition of Ian Buxton’s 101 Whiskies To Try Before You Die, with the writer calling it “whisky’s future” with “new levels” of flavour.
